93-99.99% min Nickel, commonly alloyed with Copper, Iron, Manganese, Carbon, Silicon and traces of Aluminium and Titanium.

Characteristics

  • High corrosion resistance

  • Passive Nickel-Oxide surface film resists attack from reducing agents and oxidation.

Uses

  • Machinery used for chemical processing.

  • Electrical industry applications

Weldability

Welding of CP and Low Alloy Nickels is easily achieved by GMAW and GTAW welding processes, with no post-weld treatment required.

Machinability

CP and Low Alloy Nickels are machinable once they have been cold work hardened.
